| Weather Station at Atharva Satellite Ground-Station Atharva satellite Ground-Station has another addition to its list of equipments- a professional wireless data logging weather station! The station boasts of long range wireless data logging facility. This is done with the help of a PDA (portable device assistant) which displays the large amount of data that the device measures which include Indoor temperature and humidity Outdoor temperature and humidity Absolute and relative pressure Wind speed and Wind direction Wind and gust level Dew point (temperature at which humind air begins to condense at constant barometric pressure) Wind chill (a measure of drop in temperature due to wind) Hour rainfall 24 hour rainfall Week rainfall Month rainfall Once PRATHAM is launched, the Weather Station will be helpful in keeping a record of changes in TEC values with respect to changes in temperature humidity and rain conditions. |
